Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi-Ocean Springs Welcomes 10 New Provisional Members
BILOXI/OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (December 4, 2008) — The Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi-Ocean Springs (BOSJA) has selected 10 new provisional members.
BOSJA President, Dana Mitchell commented on the new class, "I am very excited as we start our new provisional class of 10 bright and talented ladies. New members bring exciting ideas and high levels of energy that help us continue our mission to serve the children on the Mississippi Gulf Coast."
Provisional members include: Kelly Allen, Jessica Chevalier, Crystal Felsher, Burgundy Hornsby, Caty Mahoney Hulett, Callie Gottsche Mullins, Tina Murray, Kelly Vancleave, Amy Weaver, and Michelle Wood.
BILOXI, MS (October 16 – 17, 2008) — The Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi-Ocean Springs (BOSJA) transformed a common area at the Gulf Coast Women’s Center for Non-Violence into a comfortable living space for the women and children that live at the Center.
The Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi-Ocean Springs held its annual spring luncheon in April at Fant's in Ocean Springs. The executive board for 2008 - 2009 was installed, 31 provisionals were initiated and 10 members changed their memberships to life and associate status.
The Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi-Ocean Springs received the Martha Wise Award at the National Junior Auxiliary Convention in Birmingham, Alabama on May 3, 2008.
Thanks to a $15,000 grant from the Gulf Coast Community Foundation, the Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi-Ocean Springs will be helping hundreds of underprivileged children this upcoming school year.
